Illson (Michael Ortiz) has worked closely with DKC since late 2009. Creating most of our logos including the DKC 5 points star and the Trainwreck mural at the shop. Michael is a staple in the Denver art scene and has many works you have seen and recognize locally, and around the globe. Michael has played an integral role at DKC and we are proud to feature him as our first artist in 2020, Denver Kush Club’s 10 year anniversary.
Michael generally focuses on doing large scale production, murals, street art, design and progressive use of mixed media’s. “ILLSON”, as he is best known, is born and raised in Colorado. He has been a working artist in Denver for over two decades. His many works can be viewed around Denver, all over the US, and internationally.
